Why does your breastfeeding partner need your help?

Research shows that social support, especially from a significant other, is one of the strongest predictors of breastfeeding duration.

By playing a supporting role in your partners breastfeeding experience you will help her to:

Feel less stressed about feeding your infant
Feel more confident about her ability to breastfeed
Feel like she can effectively resolve any problems that may arise
Feel more comfortable with the process of breastfeeding
Feel like she has the social support she needs during an exhausting and sometimes difficult period
